K&P Law firm reviewed and advised on the English consulting agreement, and revised it.

 

The agreement was for a US consulting company to provide consulting services to a Korean corporation.

 

K&P Law Firm amended the agreement regarding the method and timing of payment, conflict of interest provisions, and termination conditions.

 

• The consultant is prohibited from consulting for companies that have conflicts of interest with clients.
• The consultant is required to obtain prior written permission from the client before charging for any services that may incur additional fees.
• A clause has been added that allows the client to terminate the consulting agreement at any time.
• To be fair to both parties, we have included a clause in the agreement that allows for disputes with clients to be resolved through arbitration in a neutral third country, such as Singapore, rather than the United States or Korea, where either party is based.

 

With the review of K&P Law Firm, the client was able to successfully conclude the agreement with a US consulting firm.
